This 17-year-old expression was uniquely matured in refill American oak hogsheads before being re-casked into fresh charred American oak casks. This dual maturation imparts intense notes of caramelized sugar, toasted nuts, and creamy vanilla, layered over Singleton’s signature orchard fruit core.
On the nose, expect aromas of green apple, honey, and spiced wood. The palate opens with bursts of poached pears and sweet malt, followed by hints of ginger, creamy toffee, and charred oak. The finish is long, warming, and satisfyingly smooth.
